The center is comprised of 70 buildings (many of them dilapidated) on 840 acres. (Aerial photo on the left)<br />Plum Island has its own fire department, power plant, and water treatment plant. No wildlife exists on the island; deer which swim onto the island are killed, along with every other animal that leaves the island.</span></div><br /><div></div><div>Could this creature be a victim of a some Government testing? Is the US Gov't trying to splice K9 and Pig DNA? Has Military recruitment gotten to a point where the US Gov't is forced to create an army of genetically engineered Warthogs to fight the war on human rights(whoops)...<em>I mean terror.</em></div><div>I would not put anything past the US Department of Home Land Security which just happens to be in charge of the USDA. We all know how much the Bush Administration loves to own up to its mistakes (according to them, they have a spotless record). What makes you think that the USDA would admit they messed with nature and screwed up?
