UKRAINE NATIONALISTS IN SUPPORT OF POLITICAL ASSASSINATIONS

Among the protesters were several members of the civilian wing of the Azov Battalion, as well as militants of the Right Sector group.<br /> <br /> Denis Polishchuk and Andrey Medvedko, arrested in June and currently in prison for the killing of Oles Buzina, were two Ukrainian ultranationalists and volunteers of what the Ukrainian government calls the "Anti Terrorist Operation," a military action on the territories of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR/DPR). Both Polishchuk and Medvedko are believed to have connections to the right-wing ultranationalist Right Sector group<br /> <br /> Forty-five-year-old Buzina was shot in April while jogging near his home in Kiev. The journalist was highly critical of President Petro Poroshenko's government and many believe his death was politically motivated.
