It has been awhile, Lets catch up to some of the happenings in the world of sports:

Stephan Marbury Update: He was released by the Knicks in late februaury after a prolonged Buyout negotiation. Considering that he still got 18 Million Doll-Hairs, it should not have been that long. I would love to meet the genius arbitrationg that negotiaition. Here's how it probably went:
Knicks Arbitrator: The Knicks will agree to pay Marbury 18 Million to go be a disruptive team cancer elsewhere, preferebly a rival city like Boston.
Marbury (acting as his own agent): Wooohoooo! I Screwed over my hometown team and still got paid. Now I am off to hated rival Boston, so I can be Starbury once again!
Knicks Arbitrator: Suckers! (Under his breathe)
(This has been a dramitization)

But, Even with 18 Million bucks, He is still a loser!!
His nickname should have been Suckbury, not Starbury.
The Proof is in the poorly constructed sneakers:
Celtics before Marbury: Defending NBA Champions 2008-09 Record: 46-13

Celtics after acquiring Marbury: 3-3
Marbury's Stats in his first six games:
7-27 FGs, 0-5 from 3 point land, 15 assists, 12 turnovers and 9 Personal Fouls. Hall of Fame numbers right there. My prediction is that the Knicks beat the Celtics in the first round of the NBA playoffs 4 Games to 3 and Isiah "the false prophet" Thomas emerges to take credit for masterminding the whole operation. Mwuhaaahaaa

Moving on.....

In the World Baseball Classic, The Neatherlands beats the powerhouse Dominican Republic team not once but TWICE!!!
Looking at thier rosters: The Dominican team is full of Major Leagers and Superstars like Jose Reyes, Hanley Ramirez, Miguel Tejada and David Ortiz.
The Dutch are flanked by Sidney "too drunk to pitch" Ponson, some guy named VandenHurk and Randall Simon of the Newark Bears.

All this proves is that Smokin' Weed makes you better at baseball too. So far weed has locked down Swimming (Michael Phelps), Football (Santonio Holmes) and now Baseball. No wonder California wants to legalize it!

Bonus Clip of the Week:
A follow up to the Jon Stewart Vs. CNBC story from earlier this Month. It is now apparently a full-fledged Anchor War according to some News Networks that shall remain nameless. Here is a clip from last night's Daily Show:

It all culminates tonight when Jim Cramer from Mad Money visits Jon Stewart on the Daily Show. If this doesn't kick the Nasdaq into gear, I don't know what will.
