The war on drugs has lasted a long time and had made almost no dent in the drug market. The real criminals here are pharmaceuticals (the people that brought us such trends as Hydrocones a.k.a Vicodin a.k.a The Watsons, Percocets, Benzodiazepines, Ambiens, Barbiturates, Oxycontin, Roxycontin and so forth) and the the people that protect them (the government and their overly righteous and slightly overenthusiastic group of henchmen sporting dark blue jackets with the D.E.A insignia on the back.) In fact, we should see how these men and or women have been spending our money lately (the more than half of your paycheck that they take away.)
On June 13, 2008 the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is released photos of the record-breaking hashish seizures in Afghanistan which occurred on June 9, 2008.
Hashish located in underground bunkers. The 262-ton hashish seizure is the largest of any known drug seizure. Operation Albatross was a result of the joint effort between the Government Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and DEA’s Foreign-Deployed Advisory and Support Teams (FAST). Operation Albatross was also supported by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization International Security Assistance Force (NATO-ISAF), U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the U.S. Department of State. Sounds expensive doesn't it? They even got the Department of Defense in on it, all to intercept and seize some smoke! I'll be honest here, every time someone says drugs and Afghanistan in the same sentence people immediately think of Poppy plants and Heroin. The DEA is running around the Afghan interior and seizing what is basically a more potent form of marijuana. They used explosives to destroy both the drugs and the compound where it was being made. Look carefully at the picture. This in fact, is how most people in Afghanistan live. It is certainly understandable that some Afghan people are going to manufacture hashish in order to earn money and maybe even employ nearby villagers. It doesn't seem altogether crazy if you think about it. Leave the hash guys alone! Go after the Afghan heroin farms , which now have the world highest output of heroin. IN FACT, statistically heroin is now cheaper and more pure because of this.
So we know they are spending our tax dollars well and keeping the drugs off the streets Kabul (as if we or the Afghanis give a shit. Other than the fact that the DEA is taking their only source of income. Plus it's not even making a dent!) But lets see what this great organization is doing here at home.
January 17, 2007 –– 11 Federal search warrants were executed at marijuana distribution centers throughout Los Angeles County. As a result, DEA agents seized several thousand pounds of processed marijuana, marijuana plants, and large quantities of marijuana-laced edibles like the ones pictured above. Hmm, from what I hear they kind of legalized marijuana in California... didn't they? How does that work? You can have a license to sell but not to manufacture? That makes no sense. If you Californians want to legalize something again then go all the way with it. You're either on one side or the other. Yes or No. But it seems that California is running with some kind of "maybe legal" scenario. No wonder even Californians are too fucking confused to know whether it's legal or not and give me conflicting information about the topic (or it could be the pot). WHY! WHY! Why do you have to seize the damn Hashy's Chocolate Bars! .. DAMN! For Christ's sake, the pharmaceuticals continue to make their synthetic opiates legally. They make them available, get people hooked and leave them with little hope and minimal motivation to quit using their vile products. And all it takes to get hooked to an opioid is one prescription from the doctor or hospital. The reason why harmless recreational drugs are still illegal is because these fucking pharmaceuticals want you to buy their pills and get high on THEIR product. Same thing with the alcohol companies. Fucking hypocritical pricks!
